Thomas Nelson Community College Workforce Development Program
The Thomas Nelson Community College Development Program supports businesses through customized training, job skill assessments, apprenticeships, and employee transitions. Both students enrolled in the school and businesses that choose to offer customized classes for their employees benefit from this program. Classes are offered at the Hampton, Newport News, and Williamsburg locations as well as either online or at your facility. This program is a huge asset to businesses in the surrounding area as they have immediate access to a trained and highly-skilled workforce through the training that this program provides.

- A fully equipped conference center featuring lecture, seminar and dining areas as well as breakout rooms and a catering kitchen
- An executive board room
- 5 multi-media classrooms
- 4 computer labs
- A Manufacturing Excellence Center that includes flexible manufacturing, electronics, industrial, and welding labs
